Made in California - Call for Art
Taking submissions now through Feb. 7, 2025
Made in California opens April 27, 2025
This annual juried exhibit showcases artwork from all over the state of California. MICA strives to highlight artists in all stages of their careers and offers them a chance to compete for a number of cash prizes, as well as the coveted solo show opportunity. This regional show features artwork from an extensive variety of mediums and explores creative movements happening in California.
Qualifications
Must be a California resident, ages 18 and over. All mediums and skill levels are welcome to apply!
Special Deal for October
For the month of October, all Juried Entries are only $10! Be sure to get your submission in before midnight October 31, 2024 to take advantage! After October, submission fees are as followed:
Submissions
- Juried Submission: $20 per entry
- This submission type is for consideration to Made in California. Submit 1-10 pieces to be juried.
- Solo Show Submission(5-10 entries): $80
- This submission type is for consideration of a Solo Show, which runs congruent to Made in California. Submit a cohesive body of work (5-10 pieces) to showcase your art and story. Please note that artwork not selected for the Solo Show will be pooled into the jurying process for Made in California.
- Member & Residents: FREE Solo Show Submission (1-10 entries)
- To celebrate our 40th Anniversary of Made in California, Brea residents and gallery members are now eligible to submit a FREE Solo Show Submission (1-10 pieces). For this submission type, artists that submit 1-4 pieces will be added to the jurying process for Made in California. Artists submitting 5-10 pieces with an artist statement will be considered for the Solo Show. If artists submit without an artist's statement, all entries will be pooled in the jurying process for Made in California.
