As of 2:45 PM, the Orange County Fire Authority is reporting that the Blue Ridge Fire is now approximately 15,200 acres with 0% containment. There are no injuries to fire personnel and no injuries reported by community members. In Brea, all current evacuations remain in place. There are 276 homes currently under MANDATORY evacuations in Hollydale and Olinda Village and 680 homes under VOLUNTARY evacuations in Brea Hills and Olinda Ranch. There are no other evacuations at this time. Updated information will be sent out as conditions change.

Community Services has issued cancellations today for outdoor fitness and childcare at the Brea Community Center.
These evacuations are a safety precaution due to the Blue Ridge Fire currently burning in Yorba Linda. In addition, Carbon Canyon Road remains closed at Brea Hills to ease traffic. Residents are able to pass. Please head west through Brea when evacuating the canyon. Once residents evacuate the area, there is no longer access until the area is cleared by public safety personnel.
As evacuating, gather your belongings and head to a family or friends home, or a hotel. The Brea Community Center, 695 Madison Way, is also available as an evacuation center. Please note, COVID precautions will be in place at the community center. If you have a mobility issue or need help evacuating, please call 714-671-3648.
